Carbon Fiber Wheel Usage Attention

・A CF wheel is a high-performance wheel for races that assumed use for solar cars and dedicated lightweight vehicles.
・Because the structure of the wheel is based on a race design criteria, working points should not be crossed and product should be treated and handled with care.
・Please perform a correct installation of the wheel. Incorrect installation or carelessness can cause decrease in the wheel performance and strength.

■Handling / Storage：
・The CF wheel is made from Carbon Fiber and epoxy resin.
・When using, please do not expose the wheel to direct sunlight for a longer period.
・If the wheel gets exposed to rain, water or moisture, wipe it off immediately. Also please store it on dry place.
・Please treat carefully surface of the CFRP wheel product enough not to damage it.
・The cover side can easily be damaged in particular when hard metal object is used.
・Broken or damaged wheel should never be repaired by customer, dealer or supplier under no circumstances.  

■Tire Set：
・When exchanging a tire, please don’t apply metallic tools that might damage the wheel rim. Use tools made of plastic material instead. 
・During the installation of the air valve, please tighten rubber sealing (O-ring) so there is no gap between rim and the valve.
・When you identify a fitting between a wheel rim section and the tire air valve, it is advisable to use silicon sealant to establish a quality joint.
・When you perform a mount between tire and a wheel, please use low compressor pressure while inflating a tire so that a tire beads doesn’t hit a rim.

■At the time of use：
・Air pressure in a tire should be equal or less then 6.0kg/cm².
・When dealing with tire and wheel sets please wear protection glasses and gloves at all times.
・Prior use of the wheel/tire set please inspect a wheel whether are there any cracks or damages on a wheel.
・When air pressure in tire deteriorates to a large extent, please discontinue using a wheel since lack of air can cause deformations of the wheel rim when loaded.
・In case of abnormal vibration and noise, please discontinue using a wheels and perform an inspection.

■Additional Notes：
・The CF wheel is the wheel which supposes race use. All responsibility of the usage lies on the user, and it doesn’t fall under product liability law.
